Why Do I need EMPLOYEE & CONSULTING AGREEMENTS? These documents establish the rules for players. You can't play the game if you don't know the rules. If there are no agreements, over a period of time, memories dim, rules become fuzzy and relationships may fray. Avoid trouble by spelling out what each party is supposed to do and when it is to be accomplished. Independent Contractor's Agreements (for example, some sales contractors), Assignment of Rights, Proprietary Information Agreements, and Key Employee Agreements fall into this category.
